General Information
High performance polarization compensation optics are now available with PolarCorrect®. ColorLink® introduces a new family of polarization control
optical components that correct polarization inefficiencies in optical systems
including HTPS and LCOS boosting contrast. Unlike crystalline material based
products, PolarCorrect provides a unique combination of high performance with
cost-effective manufacturing. In addition to custom compensation optics,
PolarCorrect also includes standard products such as quarter-wave, half-wave
and achromatic waveplates. |

Product Description
PolarCorrect optics utilize birefringent polymers rather
than crystalline materials. Combined with established
high-volume production techniques used in other
ColorLink products such as ColorSelect, significant
cost, manufacturability and performance advantages are
now possible. Custom retardation solutions that correct
polarization inefficiencies are engineered by modeling
optical system using proprietary software tools. The final
packaged product presents exceptional environmental
stability. The ColorLink family of optics include fractional
wave plates, quarter wave plates, half wave plates,
achromatic wave plates and custom designed optics that
compensate liquid crystal limitations in HTPS and LCOS
microdisplays.
Benefits
