General Information
True color rendition is now possible with ColorCorrect®. The ColorLink®family of color and contrast enhancement films for display and imaging applications. Unlike rare earth glasses, polarization based ColorCorrect filters are designed application specific to precisely correct color rendition in CRTs, flat panel displays, and micro display based projection systems. Patented non-absorptive technology allows for high transmission, high durability, and low-cost filters.
 

Product Description
ColorCorrect filters utilize polarization, rather than rare earth doped absorption glasses for controlling color. Based on proprietary retarder stack technology, the retarder stacks selectively rotate the state of polarization of the undesirable intermediate wavelengths such as cyan and yellow. The primary color bands retain the input state of polarization and the exit polarizer analyzes the extraneous colors.

Spectral Characteristics
ColorCorrect filters are designed application specific. Color and contrast enhancements are achieved by controlling the depth, slope and position of the notch as well as attenuation in the pass bands.


DoubleNotch¥ filters trim wavelength regions that desaturate colors such as DN3 and DN7.


SourceShaper¥ filters trim wavelength regions that super saturate colors, such as SSF1, as well as regions that
desaturate color, such as SSF7.
